The signature topic
Parents cannot stand beside their daughters through every message, friendship, car ride, or difficult decision. They can build the skills and the relationship that help when they are not there.
Drawing on the RTD guide, Kevin M. Coles leads a conversation about practical preparation through each stage of growing up, from early boundaries to the first phone and greater independence.
The focus is on everyday choices, useful language, and actions families can practice together.
What the conversation covers
Boundaries, asking for help, and teaching daughters that kindness does not require compliance.
Phones, sleepovers, parties, and rides: talk through the moment before the pressure arrives.
Responding in a way that makes it easier for a daughter to ask for help when something goes wrong.
Who it is for
A shared starting point for conversations families need to continue at home.
Practical ways to support daughters without taking over every decision.
A discussion for organizations bringing parents and caregivers together.
Audience, format, timing, and fit are discussed before an engagement is agreed. This is an educational speaking session; it is not a self-defense certification or individualized safety assessment.
